Caught a fun milestone recently: 127 consecutive laps on Mako.
My previous top day was 105 rides at BGT, though that was a variety pack.
For nostalgia's sake, attached is my previous second-best day: 84 rides on Iron Gwazi, which seems to keep climbing my Top-5. Masterpiece.
Living close to Cedar Point, I've gone over 100 times, most of them occurring during the 2024-25 seasons. I've rode every roller coaster there at least 100 times, with the exception of Corkscrew (94), Cedar Creek Mine Ride (68), and Wild Mouse (35). With that said, I am proud to say Iron Gwazi stands at 404 now, with only 27 total trips to the park, surpassing Maverick's 367. Goodbye, Maverick. Pantherion laps Maverick anyways.
It is going to be such a enjoyable and relaxing summer.
The Cedar Point Double (2025)
The 2024 and 2025 seasons brought a massive focus on Cedar Point, where an endurance goal turned into a long-standing personal best.
GateKeeper (Day 1): Achieved 97 laps in a single day. This record stood as the ultimate personal best for 9 months, testing endurance and focus on the wing coaster. The OPs were awesome!!
Magnum XL-200 (Day 2): Followed up the very next day by dedicating the marathon to the Arrow hyper coaster, logging 80 rides. I finished with TT2 and Magnum broke down once during the day so I went elsewhere until it reopened.
If I had to guess, I would think 97 GateKeeper's is the most cycles in a day by a single rider. I am not as positive about Magnum, as the ride was open during a time where riders could have probably gotten away with sitting on the ride the entire day without having to get up. Either way, I did not have a single bruise the following day after Magnum, and I can assure you I rode in row 3 as much as I could and got every possible inch of that magic 3rd hill that sends you to the sky!
Looking back at a fun milestone from earlier this year! π’
On April 10th, 2026, I set a previous daily personal best with 105 roller coasters at Busch Gardens Tampa. A massive shoutout to the ride ops for a flawless day.
Highlights included:
πΉ 105 total laps
πΉ 62 rides on Montu
Can't beat an empty station and a great B&M invert! π π₯

@DoubleX2Dave This must have been a world record. Especially for two people. There is little to no chance that any other individual was able to lap this 20 times in 21 cycles (row 7 was taken once), and most definitely not completed by two individuals at the same time. Great work cousin!
127 laps on Mako at SeaWorld Orlando in a single day. π
Here is what that endurance looks like in numbers for anybody tracking the ride's math:
β’ 254 minutes (4.2 hours) on the actual circuit
β’ 10 hours total in the station
β’ 9 airtime hills per lap
The 200-foot, 73mph layout by Bolliger & Mabillard remains a masterclass in pacing, providing sustained floater airtime without aggressive positive Gs. This allowed the track's cycle to remain incredibly smooth from drop to brake run over a high volume of cycles.
If you ever want to experience the negative gravity effects consistently, the rear rows offer a noticeably more sustained whip over the crests compared to the front.

Lethal @DailyRoto / @SaberSim combo yesterday. With a little fine-tuning, the 150 satellite tickets ($3,750 value) turned into just under $12,000. Waking up at 2:30am never felt so good! Now it's time to get 150 Australian Open tickets!
Normally I don't send out tweets like this, but @DerekCarty's projection systems (the BLITZ and the BAT) are the best in the business and anybody that doesn't use them are starting from behind @RotoGrinders your NFL lineupHQ is fire as well! Happy Holidays!
