@emmydre_x1 In 2004 I worked for the company, Digiscope, that did the VFX for this incredible effect and after begging got to see the behind the scenes breakdown. Everything but the stunt guy and the fake snow he’s touching was blue screen and they tracked that matte painting in perfectly.

@ShaneM_Anderson I'm gonna say this once: if filmmakers want to stop seeing underexposed, mushy, emotionally dissonant imagery, you need to change which DPs you hire. DPs are encouraged to shoot this way because it is rewarded. Instagram and reels are full of people YASSing it. Hire someone else.
