🇺🇸 Glad the World Cup is here. I need the distraction. Tough day!
🇦🇷 Me viene muy bien que hoy empiece el Mundial. Necesito ver otra cosa y distraerme un poco. Día duro, che.
SPURS 3RD QUARTER LAST NIGHT
0 points in the paint
First team this postseason to go an entire quarter without scoring in the paint
Wemby played all but 58 seconds of the third quarter btw
It’s very clear to me that a lot of this generation of Spurs fans didn’t live through:
- Spurs losing a 2-0 lead to OKC in 2012
- Manu fouling Dirk in 2006 WCSF
- Spurs going down 4-2 to 8 seed Memphis in 2011
- Tim Duncan missing a bunny in the 2013 finals
- Manu TO in 2013 finals
- Spurs blowing clinching game to DET in 2005 before winning Game 7.
It’s really showing this morning.

Historic Collapse: Spurs Suffer Heartbreaking Game 4 Loss in NBA Finals #porvida#nba https://t.co/R1MEN5cZss
Mitch Johnson on Spurs scoring just 30 after the break:
"We got away from what got us the 76 points in the first half just in terms of putting pressure on the rim, rolling after screens, running, continuing to find the paint, whether it's for ourselves or for our teammate."
Wemby missed free throws
Fox shouldn't have tried the layup
Nobody boxed out OG
But the Spurs didn't suffer the biggest collapse in NBA Finals history with any one mistake
They did it by playing the second half like they won the game in the first

Dylan Harper says the Spurs gave that one away
"We're all definitely hurt, I mean, angry, but I mean, I feel like this is all fuel to the fire for us, and I think that we're just gonna go out play the game with a sense of fire in game five."
Wemby on Spurs scoring only 30 points in second half: “We stopped moving the ball, stopped executing.”
He said they must “hold each other accountable” for the epic collapse but be careful “not to point fingers.”
Dylan Harper on the offensive approach in the second half:
"We went away from everything we were doing. I think in the first half a lot of shots went in, a lot of tough shots went in, but really that was because we was playing the right way, and I think we got away from that second half because the lead, but we just can't take our foot off the gas. I mean, it's one thing for me to sit up here and say, but another thing for us to go out there to do it."
#Spurs rookie Dylan Harper on tonight’s loss: “This is (more) fuel to the fire for us. We’re going to go into the next game with sense of fire and be ready for Game 5. We can’t do anything about (Game 4) now.” #PorVida
