here's the pattern across every major AI launch recently:

> Claude Computer Use... controls your desktop
> Meta Ad Agents... analyzes your campaigns
> Perplexity Personal Computer... works while you sleep
> Klaviyo Composer... builds your email campaigns

every company shipped the same product wearing different clothes: an agent that does work, not a chatbot that answers questions about work

the interface went from "ask AI" to "assign AI"

if your workflow still starts with typing a question into a chat box, you're using the transition product... the destination is an agent that already did the work before you asked

Unsurprisingly it’s software developers and customer service agents who are most under threat from AI.

I expect when AI voice catches up to where AI code is now we will start to see lots and lots of AI customer service agents.

I’ve been amazed how good the latest Anthropic and OpenAI models are at coding. They’re a big step up from 6 months ago and can now work autonomously for hours writing solid code.

If that’s only 40% of the theoretical capability, it’ll be pretty scary how good it is in 6 months.
