@iamkennethchan "By Spring 2017, about $100 million had also already been spent on site preparation work in advance of major construction activities... cancelled by the BC NDP government"

@johnrstreit@GlobalBC@simisara730CKNW Artist Yue Minjun is a respected internationally recognized Chinese artist and this is how Vancouver treats its cultural treasures. This feels as offensive as if @ParkBoard decided to put soccer jerseys on totem poles @CityofVancouver https://t.co/csrsBMg3NA
@cbcwatcher@preta_6 I don't have much faith that @cbc will let the public decide who will represent Canada at Eurovision. The best artist won't be chosen, it will be someone chosen by a CBC panel with a political agenda that has nothing to do with music.
@nationalpost Don't bother @cbc unless it is the public who decides who represents Canada at Eurovision. We should send our best artist, not someone chosen by a panel with an agenda outside of music.
@iamkennethchan The bike lane ruined Water St with hundreds of ugly painted dots on the cobblestones, concrete partitions, and all the ugly signs to remind everyone about the bike lane and how much some city worker, with no sense of aesthetics nor design, hates cars.

@iamkennethchan@DailyHiveVan Why not work within a budget and not raising property taxes. Tired of seeing our tax $$$ being spent on eco vanity projects like the $10 Million bike lane plaza at Robson & Bute. We did not need it! https://t.co/RI0XoWM5oR
@iamkennethchan While we’re at it… Can we please restore Gastown to a state prior to when it became an eyesore of barriers, painted dots, and dozens of ugly traffic signs.
@VancouverSun So what? Why do we have to keep up with the Joneses? #Vancouver is already one of the most unaffordable cities in the world to live in. Increasing taxes to build more bike lanes to fulfill some politicians dream of being the “greenest city in the world” is absurd. #vanpoli
@DailyHiveVan I wish! NDP cancelling this bridge when they came into power was a huge mistake that will cost tax payers dearly. NDP tunnel cost is going to balloon.
@iamkennethchan@DailyHiveVan Before we spend any more tax $$$ on fancy new things, and that goal of being the “Greenest City in the World. Let’s repair the aging water and sewer system. Main St and Quebec sewage line was a disaster and it’s still not complete after how many years?
@iamkennethchan No wonder Vancouver is considered to have some of the worse traffic congestion. Car hating politicians spending millions of tax $$$ on making #Vancouver less livable.
@iamkennethchan#Vancouver was recently named “the most sustainable city in the WORLD. Isn’t it time more money was spent on upgrading our water and sewer system and less on Green vanity projects? #vanpoli
@iamkennethchan $10M should've been put to better use. Stop spending millions in tax $$$ on more bike lanes that close off road access causing congestion. Any new bike lane spending should be a separate line in the capitol plan borrowing separate from engineering at election #vancouver#vanpoli
@iamkennethchan No thank you. I don’t need a mayor who wants to make Vancouver the Greenest city in the world at the cost of affordability, function, and economy of the city.
@GlobalBC NDP has gone too far. No one is going to want to do business with BC anymore. I've never voted conservative before but seriously considering it next time. This affects all BC citizens and should be put to vote.
