Islamismus zeigt sich in sogenannten Einzelfällen: wenn ein Busfahrer in Bayern sein Fahrzeug stoppt, die Fahrgäste ignoriert und in aller Ruhe sein Gebet verrichtet, wenn ein Lehrer in Berlin von seinen muslimischen Schülern gemobbt wird, weil er seine Homosexualität nicht verheimlicht oder wenn Anhänger einer wegen Extremismus geschlossenen Moschee in Frankfurt regelmäßig demonstrativ die Straße blockieren, um dort zu beten. Viele Menschen bekommen dann ebenso ein Störgefühl, wie bei islamistischen Demonstrationen für ein Kalifat, bei Fällen von Geschlechtertrennung in Universitäten oder dann, wenn Muslime bei Umfragen bekunden, der Koran sei wichtiger als das Grundgesetz. Sie erahnen, dass es dabei nicht um Religion geht, deren Ausübung das Grundgesetz garantiert, sondern dass hier ein eiserner Machtanspruch demonstriert werden soll.

Der politische Islam hat diesen Machtanspruch. Seine Akteure möchten den vermeintlichen Willen Allahs ausführen und die Welt dem Islam zu unterwerfen. Europa und auch Deutschland wurden längst zu Missionsgebieten erklärt.

Man könnte solche Vorstöße verhindern, wenn man bestehende Gesetze anwendet. Das geschieht allerdings nicht, und auch die Justiz übt sich gegenüber dem Islamismus häufig in fragwürdiger Toleranz. Man kann sich fragen, wes Geistes Kind diejenigen sind, die dem Treiben islamistischer Akteure nichts entgegensetzen und Kritik sogar als antimuslimischen Rassismus delegitimieren. Der liberalen Demokratie erweisen sie in jedem Fall einen Bärendienst.

Її катували струмом, забивали цвяхи в коліна, влаштовували імітацію розстрілу, а у камері вона намагалася покінчити з собою, але вижила.

Олена Пех провела шість років у російському полоні: два - у в'язниці, чотири - в таборі.

У 2014 році Олена з донькою виїхали до Одеси. Але через два роки в її матері стався інсульт, і жінка почала регулярно їздити на окуповану територію, щоб доглядати за нею.

Під час одног�� з візитів її викрали й звинуватили у співпраці з українською владою.

Перші місяці її катували, знаючи межу болю: струм, протигаз без повітря, фізичне насильство. Від болю вилазили очі, тіло розривало зсередини та відкривалася кровотеча.

На колінах досі шрами від цвяхів, які вбивали блокнотом. Були й сексуальні приниження, здирання одягу, постійні образи: "українська підстилка", "жидівська тварюка".

Двічі її виводили до стінки й стріляли з кулемета над головою.

Одного вечора охоронець приніс хліб і яблуко, - вона не з'їла, натомість попросила відро води, а за батареєю знайшла шматок металу.

Спочатку хотіла повіситися, але ноги діставали до підлоги. Тоді вирішила порізати вени. Тупим мет��лом шкребла шкіру, доки дісталася вен, і кров потекла у воду.

Уранці її камера "розкрилася". Волосся прилипло до підлоги від крові. Її перетягли в іншу камеру, перев'язали та облили водою. Коли вона отямилася, - то вже нічого не боялася.

Найболючішим виявився удар від рідних. Через два роки адвокатка дала Олені ознайомитися зі справою.

Серед доказів були свідчення матері й сестри, які звинувачували її в тому, що вона за Україну, а вони - за росію.

Їй дали 13 років, "пришили" державну зраду. Своє останнє слово вона сказала коротко: "13 років - за що?".

Триматися їй допомагала любов до доньки та рідкісні дзвінки, в яких донь��а зі сльозами казала "Мамо, про вас забули".

За кілька днів до обміну її змусили написати прохання про помилування на ім'я Путіна, а через три дні оголосили: вона помилувана.

Далі були дев'ять годин до Москви, ніч в одиночці, потім автобус, мінне поле і наказ бігти.

І лише коли росіяни зникли, вона почула українською: "Ви вже вдома".

Сьогодні Олена живе в Німеччині. Полон змінив її назавжди: вона уникає людей, розмовляє з деревами та робить руками шкатулки, щоб заспокоїтися.

Її мрія - щоб Господь вимкнув у людей здатність створювати зброю. А особисте щастя для неї - у щасті її доньки.

She is simply an incredible person.

The last confirmed interception was on July 2.
In four years, Europe has failed to resolve the Patriot shortage. That is a bitter reality.
Yet, Europe could easily have helped using its own systems:

IRIS-T SLM (Germany) – combat-proven; effective against aircraft, drones, and cruise missiles.
NASAMS (Norway/USA) – a proven, flexible system; successfully deployed in Ukraine.
SAMP/T (France/Italy) – the European counterpart to the Patriot; also capable of intercepting short-range ballistic missiles.
Sky Sabre/CAMM (UK) – a modern medium-range air defense system; effective against aircraft, drones, and cruise missiles.

Europe failed to do what it could have done: massively ramp up domestic production, replenish stockpiles, and ensure rapid delivery. Instead of reducing reliance on US ammunition, there was too much talk and too little delivery.

A remarkable story from Chasiv Yar.

Two wounded Ukrainian soldiers spent 12 days carrying their injured brother-in-arms on a stretcher because he could no longer walk.

The three soldiers of Ukraine's 24th King Danylo Separate Mechanized Brigade had just left their positions after 354 days defending one of the most brutal sectors of the front.

One of them, 32-year-old Vitalii, had suffered a fractured bone and a severe hematoma. Evacuation by vehicle was impossible���russian drones controlled the roads and targeted anything that moved.

For 12 days, his two comrades carried him on foot.

Throughout the journey, medics delivered antibiotics, painkillers, and bandages by drone, allowing the soldiers to keep Vitalii alive.

Only after all three finally reached a stabilization point did doctors discover that the two men carrying Vitalii were also wounded. They had needed medical care themselves but spent those 12 days focused only on saving their brother-in-arms.

All three are now receiving treatment.
