On a media Zoom call, Bill Guerin said he's not going to comment on why players didn't make the U.S. roster. He did, however, say this when @wyshynski asked him about Fox/the McDavid OT winner: "If you think we made a decision on one play, you must not think we're very smart."
@Gynkos@heatdaddy69420 Idk if you’re referring to this post or not but this isn’t Pro-Russian rhetoric. We obviously don’t want a war, but we also don’t hate Russian civilians for stuff out of their control.

High school phenomenon: boys begin referring to each other by last name, an arbitrary few never lose this designation and 15 years hence are still exclusively called by their surname
@heatdaddy69420 Can confirm Oswego is one of the more depressing places from October-May. Spent 4 years in college getting non consensually touched by 45+ mph winds and lake effect weather.
@pothen And suicide mission is revisionist. Why not look at it on face value and see it as a disastrous raid with poor planning, lack of intelligence and inexperienced fighting forces
A history lesson for the US President and his spokesperson. The U.S. dealt with only two of the beaches on D-Day. Britain had two as well. Canada (despite being 1/11th your size - tackles one beach (Juno Beach) on its own.
@pothen Reduce pressure on the Soviet Union? The Dieppe raid? In 1942? Phil, the Nazis advanced farther into Soviet territory anyways until the end of 1942. It wasn’t until Stalingrad concluded that the USSR started to push back German lines.
