Say a BIG welcome to beautiful girl Bella the 8-year-old Husky.
Bella sadly had to be rehomed due to conflict in the house with another dog and was advised by vets to PTS. Her owner loved her to bits and couldn't face seeing her lose her life so reached out to us.
Sadly the only placement we had was in kennels temporarily which saved her life but we would LOVE to find her the perfect foster home to start her new journey.
Bella can be a anxious girl and would do well in a foster home with someone around. She is a lovely girl when she gets to know you, but will need some work when in foster care due to the big change in her life.
She is looking for a quieter home who likes to get out on adventures and without any small dogs. Bella hasn't yet been dog tested with bigger breed with us but potentially a placement where she can be separated would work.

The sudden and tragic death of 72 captive tigers at Thailand's Tiger Kingdom facilities between February 8 and 18, 2026, has ignited a global movement to ensure this is the "Last Generation" of big cats exploited for tourism. Official reports confirmed on February 25 that the tigers—housed in the Mae Rim and Mae Taeng districts—succumbed to a lethal combination of Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) and Mycoplasma bacteria. Conservation groups, including World Animal Protection, are now urging the Thai government to ban the commercial breeding of tigers, arguing that high-density confinement and inbreeding made these animals fatally vulnerable to a preventable disease. As the remaining 124 tigers undergo strict quarantine, the "Last Generation" campaign is calling for a transition toward genuine sanctuaries where no more cubs are born into a life of "selfie" tourism and misery.

🚨⚠️ BASINGSTOKE ANIMAL ABUSERS FACE

This evil teen tied string around a cats neck and swung the poor animal repeatedly before slamming it against scaffolding and a brick wall.

I have chosen not to post the video.

His name is Henry Newey, 18, and he is from Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Newey was charged follow an incident, caught on camera, in which a terror-stricken cat with string tied around his neck was shown being dragged by a youth before being swung around and slammed against scaffolding and a brick wall.

The heinous act took place on Chivers Close, Basingstoke, at around 6am on Thursday 17 July 2025.

The cat, Marshall, was missing for several hours but finally returned home injured and struggling to breathe with the string pulled tightly on his neck.

The traumatised family pet is now recovering after receiving veterinary treatment.

His attacker Newey has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court.

Update: Now convicted - a paltry suspended sentence & ban on owning animals for 5 years.

Canadian couple, Irene Lima and Chad Kabecz, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges and were sentenced to 12 years in prison.

The pair tortured and ki11ed at least 90 animals and sold videos of it online.

More than 60 cats and kittens, seven birds, six rabbits, six hamsters, three goldfish, a frog and an axolotl were all crushed to death on videos that were sold in some perverted “Barefoot Crush” group.

Twelve years is NOT ENOUGH in my opinion.

The dogs, believed to be Belgian Malinois’ were found on Huxley Street in #Oldham shortly after 7am this morning.
Officers have been unable to trace the owners and are looking for help in identifying them.

We are looking for a special someone to offer their heart and home to Ebby, who is looking for her Forever Fosterer.
Ebby is a 19 year old, Irish Draught/Thoroughbred mare with a sweet, gentle nature. She is a lovely, well-mannered horse who is a pleasure to spend time with. She is 16.2 hands tall, mid-weight and is presently enjoying the gentle pace of semi-retired life.
Currently Ebby is used to being turned out during the day and stabled at night, although she would almost certainly be happy to live out full‑time if the weather and ground conditions allowed. She thrives with equine company and has also lived happily alongside sheep, goats, alpacas, and even a donkey.
She is truly not fussy when it comes to the shape, size, or species of friend!
Ebby is confident hacking alone, but she does not like being left behind, so she would be best suited to life with a fully retired companion or with a small, calm herd where she can enjoy having plenty of friends around.
Over the past year, Ebby has only been ridden very lightly – just the occasional gentle hack. She can be prone to being spooked at times and is sensitive to loud noises. So she would need a nice long period to gain some trust and confidence in new surroundings. Prior to 2017, she enjoyed some low‑level eventing and dressage, and with patient, sympathetic handling, she could be brought back into light work as her fitness improves, and the rust is shaken loose.
Ebby is currently barefoot with lovely healthy feet and receives regular trims, which she behaves very well during. She was shod in the past when in more consistent work but has not needed her shoes in recent years. She does have sarcoids, but The Cinnamon Trust covers veterinary fees for the life of any pet in a forever foster home. So her ongoing care will be covered, and our Animal Welfare Team will always be on hand to offer advice or support to ensure a long and happy life together.
