During #biodiversityweek2025 why not try a Flower-Insect Timed (FIT) Count 🐝
It takes just 10 minutes and is a great way to track changes in the number of flower-visiting insects.
Hawthorn, buttercups and dandelion are some target flowers in bloom now🌻

Biodiversity Tip #1: Leave some Dandelions to flower around the farm.
Dandelions provide a valuable source of early nectar and pollen for pollinating insects.

The sun is out! ☀️Can you help us monitor insect visitors by carrying out a Flower-Insect Timed Count by the 30th of September? It is suitable for everyone and just takes 10 minutes https://t.co/KJ2NYqolk9
Ivy and heather are some of the lovely target flowers in bloom now 🐝🌼🦋
🚨Dataset Update🚨
We've had some great work been done lately on a number of different beetle species & our Citizen Science Beetle Records dataset now has 2,432 records across 24 species.
Huge thanks to Louise Garcia for all of her time and expertise validating these records.
Devil's-bit Scabious & native heathers are among the most popular food plants for wild bees in September
Pollinators are in trouble mainly because of hunger. Native species like these provide pollen & nectar. Let them grow & feed our bees
