Absolutely. False alarms certainly cause anxiety. The greater anxiety I see in women at any age,is when they are diagnosed with a large cancer, that could have been diagnosed when it was small, if they’d had optimal screening.
***In this study of >5M women in Sweden, 86% of women with breast cancer had NO FAMILY HISTORY! Even those with one 2˚ relative were at increased risk. PLEASE get screened

@DonDavies Seeing as all of us at home have all this time on our hands now... give us a productive project.what can we do to make this happen? Should we all give them a call? #powerinnumbers
On September 21, 2018 BC became the first province 2 share breast density information with all mammogram results sent 2 women+care providers. @BCCancer has produced the attached video that provides important health information on the subject. @MitziDeanBC https://t.co/F3jbRZKvNo
@adriandix@BCCancer @MitziDeanBC @adriandix Thank you for making this happen for the women of B.C. You have saved lives. And this video is brilliant, thumbs up @BCCancer . Great job!!
Note BC residents. Mammogram letter tells you your breast density and if you have Dense Breasts (C&D) MSP will pay for your breast ultrasound. JUST ASK your Doctor for a referral. Thank you @adriandix for@making this happen. Let’s get the rest of the country caught up now.
Thanks to @adriandix and the BC govt for implementing this a year ago. As a result, cancers missed by mammograms have been found earlier in women with denser breasts.
Until there's a cure, let's find cancer early and small.
