@ShiftParadigm I am an elementary resource teacher and I use a Smartboard during instruction more than half of the day. I also distribute student assignments through Google classroom at least once a day.

I feel successful when my students are able to perform well in their general education classroom as a result of me pre-teaching lessons to them. I love hearing general education teachers brag about how well my kids are doing and how confident they seem! #edchat

As a special education teacher, I monitor my students' growth biweekly. We conference about their progress or lack of and make a plan on how to improve. I feel successful when the student is excited as I am about his growth. #edchat

@Ms_Heilsberg I agree. My students that have learning disabilities struggle to meet state standards at the end of the year, but show tremendous growth when you look at where they started at the beginning of the year. #edchat

@sgthomas1973 @ClassPrinces I love constructive feedback from administration after they observe, and request it if it is not given. I think everyone has room for growth. When you become an educator you are essentially signing up to be a lifelong learner.

In order for a professional development to be effective, the educator needs to believe that the course will be beneficial improve her/his instruction in the classroom. I think giving educators a choice allows them to focus on areas they feel they need to grow in. #edchat

I think giving educators a choice allows them to focus on areas they feel they need to grow in.
