@misskellyr2 @Keir_Starmer Private companies (building owners, developers) can easily liquidate and rebrand themselves to escape negative press, escape responsibility. But we, the actual real people still living inside these unsafe homes, are left with the reality and the potentially life ruinin costs

These are questions they should have been asking BEFORE, not now

In any other situation in life where one buys something - a defective product that was packaged and missold to them as something else entirely inferior - the consumer is NEVER the one liable for all the costs to remedy the situation! Why should it be different with our flats?

@Keir_Starmer Thank you so much for taking action. Millions of us are hopelessly trapped in unsafe flats. We had surveys, we used good conveyancers, none of us could have foreseen that we were walking into a financial nightmare. Developers must be the ones to remediate their unsafe buildings

@Keir_Starmer We’re now being told that we may have to pay for any works needed to correct all the issues in our building to make it safe to live in! Developers Hollybrook cut corners and didn’t construct the building properly, not meeting fire regs, THEY should pay to correct their mistakes!!

@Keir_Starmer We live in an apartment block built by Hollybrook Housing. Shocking recent investigations done by our freeholders reveal that Hollybrook did not build according to spec: Lack of firebreaks, gaps in walls, incorrect supplies used, resulting in our building not meeting fire regs!
