Too many accounts are using your name in their handle, display name, or bio to pretend they’re you or affiliated with you. They’re preying on people. I’ve been hit by them more than once. It didn’t leave bruises, but it felt like a physical assault every time—someone using your identity to scam people who actually have something real to say.
This shouldn’t be allowed.
Filter it hard.
No one should be able to put “Elon Musk” or claim official affiliation in their profile if they aren’t you or your team.
Treat it like the crime it is when they use your name to exploit people.
X already fights bots and spam. This is the same fight—just aimed at the imposters wearing your face.
