But i noticed how much more responsive the team was to this particular patients needs. Looked at his results with mu ch more scrutiny. Spent more time discussing him on rounds, etc. That is the Power of advocacy in medicine.

I had a patient whose daughter was a pediatric NP. She absolutely made it clear to every member of the team who she was. Some people were irritated and felt her was being extra.
