Suppose that the world were populated with 2 billion Hasidic Jews who were trying to aggressively convert everyone to their faith. I would be the first to express concern if we started to bend all of our liberties to acquiesce to the demands of the Hasidic Jews. There are 10,000+ religions in the world, only one of which consistently causes global mayhem, and only one faith that is antithetical to American liberties. I criticize ideologies. I judge individuals (of any faith and of no faith) by the totality of their qualities and flaws. We should NEVER temper our commitment to the First Amendment. It is the only thing keeping us from becoming every other failed civilization throughout history. Once you allow those who wish to silence us to succeed in their plans, it is a short hop and skip to the abyss of infinite darkness. Focus. Defend your liberties. Reject ideologies that seek to enslave you.

Sexual predators are exploiting surrogacy to get access to children.

It is unbelievable to imagine, but current law does not stop registered sex offenders from obtaining a child through surrogacy. We introduced the Protecting Children in Surrogacy Act to change this.

Under our bill, anyone listed on the National Sex Offender Registry would be prohibited from obtaining a child through surrogacy. It also imposes criminal penalties of up to 10 years in federal prison for violations.

Registered sex offenders should never have access to our children. We will never stop fighting to protect the most vulnerable among us.

Francis Jordan Fuller!! Born July 28th at 11:14pm at home - 8lbs 1oz and 21 inches long.

After 9 days of prodromal labor, 3 days past my due date, Frankie arrived!!! 40 mins of active labor in a tub. Wow. And ouch. Serious ouch. Poor little guy came out bruised, cord around his neck, bloodshot eyes from birth. Recovery for both of us is so intense, but nothing out of the ordinary. It’s amazing how little I can remember from previous pregnancies/recoveries with them being so painful honestly, but, you forget. Being a woman is wild.

We are so in love. He’s so cute!!! So cuddly. So squishy. My last two babies were early so it’s kind of nice to have a little guy that’s a bit more resilient.

High five to my husband @jordan_m_fuller for surviving the last 41 weeks and just not being phased by anything. Very helpful and safe feeling. Love you so much, (adding Jordan as a middle name was my idea by the way and I had to push for it).

I didn’t think I’d ever like and love another person as much as I love you ❤️
