The very best dog in all the world has gone from us. Kaline, you lived up to your name in every way possible. Everyone who knew you loved you, and you are a legend. Legends never die.
The A’s have now failed to sell out at least 2 of their first 3 games in Vegas. They drew 8,519 for game 1 and attendance fell short of that in games 2 and 3. Vegas was sold on Fisher selling out a 30,000 seat stadium for 30 years straight, rough look #StadiumScam#FJF#Athletics
We are witnessing sports teams fleece cities for taxpayer money, or simply leave when they don't get it.
That is not what sports is about.
Sports are supposed to unite communities, create memories, and give fans something to believe in. Instead, too many owners treat cities like bargaining chips and fans like leverage.
The entitlement is staggering.
Enough excuses. Enough threats. Enough public subsidies for private profit.
Stand up. Speak out. Organize. Hold elected officials accountable. Demand better from leagues and owners.
Sports belong to the fans and communities that built them.
Enough is enough.

@ChicagoBears When everyone in Oakland said the same shit can be pulled on your team as long as we keep giving these assholes taxpayer dollars … this is what we meant. We can’t pay for healthcare for all but welfare for billionaires? Plenty of money for that.
The public records are exposing the truth.
This was never simply about “Oakland failing.”
It was leverage. Leverage against a city. Leverage against fans. Leverage against an entire community that supported the Athletics for generations.
While fans were blamed, ownership was privately strategizing optics, pressure campaigns, relocation angles, and political maneuvering.
And after all of that?
There’s still reportedly a massive funding gap tied to Las Vegas.
Oakland didn’t fail baseball.
Baseball failed Oakland.
