Mick Thwaites, former Chief of Police in Southend and consultant for Stockvale, arranged an Emergency Planning meeting on Tuesday.
Managers from all over the company came together with representatives from Emergency Services to discuss and plan how to approach serious incidents.
Martin, why so antagonistic?all would agree of need to improve quality of life for residents, just little thought for how to deliver without killing off tourism, why let truth ruin good story!
TAKE NOTE! Southend Conservatives have announced a growth plan? By announcing the scrapping of Queensway regeneration and Seaway we are £1.2bn down on inward investment. All to appease selfish Seafront Traders, needed new homes lost, growth lost, useless, ugly underpass saved.
The operation to combat high-harm crime in the busiest areas of Southend during the summer is back underway.

Great joint effort by place by @Southend_CSP @EPSouthend @EssexPoliceUK to enforce the PSPO we have in place, cracking down on e-scooters and cycling on the High Street. One e-scooter already seized before lunch!
Very nice occasion, not sure about Mcgregor Tartan shirt, but Nigel looks splendid in Panama & Union Jack waistcoat, not as good as spice girl's though ,sun shines on the righteous! 😎

@PaulTho32949139 Only one way to deliver democracy, that's through ballot box, we have the chance in May to change how we are governed, if we don't seize the opportunity we only have ourselves to blame!
@BBCEssex@RedZebra0 It’s not just an idea, it’s in the parking strategy document he & the 3 party coalition are about to nod through in Council. Once done, Seafront can be shut anytime they choose & it’s out of the hands of the elected Cllr’s. They ARE anti car & demonstrate it in all policies.
@SkyNews Blimey that's radical, what next police officers on the beat in neighbourhoods and Police Stations in local areas open to the public,it will never catch on!🤔
