Kemi Badenoch sounded very Prime Ministerial at PMQs, strongly condemning the unrest and violence we have seen in Belfast and striking exactly the right tone: firm, measured and clear.
The scenes in Belfast are deeply disturbing.
People have a right to be angry. And people have the right to expect their politicians to secure our borders.
But no one has a right to burn families out of their homes.
Death threats have no place in politics or in our society. We have political differences and many of those are strongly held - the place to debate that is in the democratic and political space, not through intimidation. Threatening violence against Belfast Lord Mayor, Róis Máire Donnelly, is completely unacceptable and must be unequivocally condemned.
Democracy depends on debate, respect and the peaceful exchange of ideas—not intimidation and fear. Everyone who serves in public office deserves to do so without facing threats to their safety.
🚨 NEW: The family of the Belfast attempted beheading victim has called for calm
"We have many migrants who make a deeply valuable contribution to our country. We depend on them to make our country work. We do not want this terrible tragedy to be used to divide people"
Thank you @SenTedCruz for accepting the press release on American @Matt_VanDyke on a one month hunger strike at Tihar jail in Delhi, India after today’s hearings. Matthew was denied phone calls with his family + private hospital transfer which go against the Geneva Conventions of 1949. After traveling from Texas to Washington, DC yesterday this is especially important to me and his family.

WOAH 🚨 Homeless women living on Skid Row in Los Angeles says someone came and had her fill out a ballot for Karen Bass
They told her who to vote for and then paid her $2 for the vote
She says “they come out here all the time” to get votes for Democrats
“They told you to vote for Karen?”
“Yeah, had to sign a little thing”
“And how much they pay you?”
“Just like $2”
“$2 to sign off on a thing to vote for her?”
“Yeah. All right, so they do this for everybody out here?”
“Yeah, they come out here all the time.”
This is exactly what James O’Keefe and Cam Higby have been exposing
Democrats have a massive voter fraud network in California
He thinks that a hijab alone is not ‘modest’ enough. So he carries a niqab in his pocket and gives it to women to cover their faces.
What kind of mentality is this?
For younger readers, Gerry Adams isn’t just some random retired politician. He spent decades denying he was in the IRA while everyone around him insisted he was one of its most senior figures.
So seeing him warn about political extremists exploiting young people and leading them into violence is, to put it mildly, a remarkable display of hypocrisy.
This is not a horror movie. THIS IS REALITY.
Terrorists strapped a suicide vest to a little boy and sent him off to die. Soldiers saved him.
Children turned into living weapons.
This is the moment a customer busted two @Shell workers running the screw scam to charge gas to other customers.
He told them straight: take the screws out or I’m ruining your entire company.
I’m so sick of people coming to America just to scam hard-working citizens. Deport every single one running these street-level cons.
Ich liebe alles daran ❤️
Die #Allianz fordert 300.000 £ von #ProPalästina-Aktivisten,
ihnen droht lebenslange Insolvenz!
One thing you need to know about the antizionist movement in Ireland is that they don't actually want any particular outcome here
What they want is to keep the issue alive, day after day, so they they can get fawning coverage in the establishment media
If the game were canceled, they'd still be furious and argue that the cancellation of the game deprived them of the right to call for the cancellation
If it sounds absurd, it's because it is

Man attempts to behead another man in the street.
"No evidence of terror at this stage, say police"
If that isn’t terror, what is? How much more terrifying does it need to be to qualify as terror?
BREAKING: Karmelo Anthony has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for the murder of Austin Metcalf. He will be eligible for parole after serving half of his sentence.
Prime Time tonight is all about the thing we know it’s all about but somehow it’s also about everthing APART from the thing it’s supposed to be all about. Meanwhile The Tonight Show reports that this evening is the night of “disturbing scenes”, not yesterday evening. Sinéad Gibney calls for the end to “the algorithms” that tell people what’s actually going on. In other words, censor the truth. #Belfast #TonightShow #PrimeTime
