Today I can share I'm challenging the PM on the legality of abandoning key Net Zero commitments
I believe the timeline for the UK to meet Net Zero cannot be changed at will by the PM – I contend that he does not have the legal right
The ball is in your court , Prime Minister
Laurence Fox threatening legal action against GBNews. Wootton's lawyer threatening anyone who links to the news of the police investigation into his client. Just a bunch of snowflakes. Spoiled, entitled, authoritarian advocates of paid speech rather than free speech
@theanfieldread@DaleJohnsonESPN It does make you wonder how open to corruption the VAR officials are. I think they should continue investigating this as it seemed really rushed and dodgy. It was such an easy decision for a group of people to make together.
Wow, full of beans and incompetence, then too afraid to own up and stop the game after their collective error… atrocious day for the game officials all round - really stole the show.
What does this even mean? The latest in a string of Cabinet ministers systematically making stuff up that either isn't happening, doesn't exist or makes no sense and then they "rally" against it. Just desperate …
You know how conservatism claims to be all about individualism? Yet someone blows the whistle, and they all move as one. Suddenly net zero is the enemy, then suddenly it’s the ECHR. Every leader column, pundit and MP recites the same lines. Sheep, the lot of ‘em.
Sainsbury’s CEO gets paid almost £4m in bonuses, on top of his salary. He’s on £2,298 per hour, while Sainsbury workers are getting £11 per hour.
And we get told workers salaries are driving inflation.
Rubbish, it’s the greed of the elite driving inflation.
Entirely predictable that Johnson making baseless accusations that he’s been forced out - he even uses the word “witch-hunt”. Trumpian rubbish. Privileges Cttee has Tory majority. He lied about the most serious of things & was held to account for treating us all with contempt
Everyone knew he was not fit to hold public office before he was even an MP. Yet Tories made him their leader & look what happened. Evading scrutiny to the last & choosing to quit just hours after gifting gongs & peerages in atrocious act of patronage & sleaze.
The #IPCC is spot on - the fossil fuel era is over. Govt must heed this final warning and cancel Cumbria coal mine, drop #Rosebank oil field, and unblock onshore wind & solar *now*. The evidence is clear, the solutions are here - now let’s see the action

1000s of words have been said in reply to Lineker. It interests me that hardly anyone has looked closely at what terms and phrases were being used in Germany in the 1930s to see if they match (or not) what's said today by Ms Braverman. I offered a list, meant only as a starter.
Hope you're listening to #IPCC report right now @RishiSunak. Just in case you didn't catch them say fossil fuels belong in the past, some policies for you:
- cancel Cumbria coal mine
- drop #Rosebank oil field
- end de facto onshore wind ban
- put solar panels on all new homes
