The uni-party is the lobbyists + deep state/permanent Washington. The political parties are a facade over this core to give us an illusion of being the buyers of political policy with our votes. But we're actually the product that the political parties sell to the uni-party. They use our votes to be the facade du jour and then monetize that power to the uni-party via extracting "donatios" to expand or protect the uni-party.

This is part of why DC is freaking out over the mid-terms, the young white males have figured out that the uni-party is transactional instead of ideological and so have expectations of their transactional vote being honored too. In other words, their vote is tied to an outcome and not supporting facade R or D. They care about the transaction, not the brand. This shift makes selling BS facades more difficult as there is no brand loyalty, just expectations of specific performance. Break the transactional agreement and they'll move on to the next brand.

@Wyorockstar It's really good. You can get as a sauce with the hot sauces and they now have it as a dry spice. I've used both and the dry spice is better for brine. A dab of the sauce is great on eggs.

I smoked a couple pork butts. Made a brine of brown sugar, honey, molasses, cumin, harissa, hot mirchi chillies (60,000-65,000 Scoville Units), cumin, allspice, cinnamon, star anise, cardamom pods, vanilla, and salt. Boiled all of that for 30 minutes and brined for 12 hours. I did a naked rub of just salt and black pepper and smoked over a wet pan of apple cider vinegar with pecan wood for 12 hours. Tenderness is perfect, but I didn't get enough flavor from the brine. I've made this before, but brined for over 24 hours and think that's where the missing flavor was. It still has a good flavor, it's just milder than I want. Needs more BAM, but still am in Falvatown.
