IMO, the future of Tour events held at elite private clubs will look bleak. Nowadays members really don’t care if their course holds a Tour event or not.

It used to be a prestigious title, now it’s more of a chore. I think this will continue to happen

Things are going the opposite way. Reinstatement too easy. Flexible or little to no work. Guys playing full schedule. Chasing WAGR points for exemptions. Mid am game has changed. Toothpaste ain’t going back in the tube. Never going to be level playing field.

I’d like to see you host a championship with the following player requirements.
- over 35
- 2 kids minimum
- full time employment
- maximum of 50 rounds played per year.
- resentment to everyone else who doesn’t meet requirements.
