They do have heretical doctrines though. Our view is nuanced. But yes, the catechism teaches they are Christians.

@Faith_is_Works @ThoughtfulSaint Your theology is a development from the Book of Mormon. Your theology is not solely derived from the BoM. You are reading your current Utah branch theology back into it. imo and well of other LDS groups of course
