@missgeog92 If it’s the Charlotte Tilbury one you use that’s been discontinued, apparently there’s a Lisa Eldridge one that’s a dupe for it! Can’t remember the name though!
@DeputyGrocott Ooh, that is very true. All I could picture was it sat - centre of attention on a platter - surrounded by measly bits of bread… garlic and rosemary crown poking out around its head…
Can anyone point me in the right direction for in-person whole-school disciplinary literacy CPD/training? Looking to get someone external in for our school.
@DavidDidau@JohnRubinstein1 Looking for some whole-school training (middle school setting, so mainly a secondary focus) around the importance of disciplinary literacy. Looking to get our staff on board with being teachers of literacy across all subject areas! Approx 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
@IILearning @ThinkReadTweet All of their training is remote unfortunately. Looking for something in-person to encourage our body of staff to use disciplinary literacy in their subject areas ☺️
@redgierob Hi Rob! Do you still offer Literacy Shed writing workshops for students? I’ve emailed the address on the website but unfortunately it’s bouncing back.
Seeing and hearing children laugh along with your class reader, squeal when you leave them on a cliffhanger and gasp at the shocking moments is the BEST part of teaching and no one can convince me otherwise. #LoveReading
@missgeog92 I love mine! But it’s easy to get used to, so I still have to have an alarm on. I find it easier waking up to a bright room though, so it helps in that sense!
Let’s do a giveaway. If you can guess the exact number of books I’ve sorted to donate today, you #WIN a KS1/ KS2 book bundle. Clue: it’s less than 150.
