DIA Pitchtank Workshop-Day one!

The Middlesex Foundation recently registered and was was shortlisted for the Dia Lab Jamaica first Pitchtank for 2022.

Each candidate is required to attend mandatory workshops leading up to the final pitch.

It is a group operated under the Institute of Law and Economics and is the brainchild of the Trust for America. We thank all the partners of this initiative and wish all candidates the best of luck with their final pitch as well as their endeavors.

They also learned more about the history of the Dia Lab. The Dia Lab is the first of its kind in Jamaica and by extension the Caribbean. Now they are over three labs established in other Caribbean region.

On Saturday two of our directors @claudia_s_campbell and Malyck Malcolm attended the first workshop. They have expressed that it was indeed a productive and gainful session that afforded them the opportunity to work collaboratively with other candidates and explore the

In this chapter of our MAYS initiative we were also able to give care packages to ten students from each primary school. This was a great addition to the initiative. We will now shuffle the deck & see which parish will surface as our start for the second stage of MAYS initiative.

We made it to all five parishes in the county of Middlesex!

We visited the parish of St. Catherine on Friday, October 2, 2021 where two students were awarded scholarship donations for their continued academic endeavours.

We are officially a year old!

We started during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and have managed to contribute monetarily and through various acts of kindness to the youth of Jamaica in scholarships and outreach.
