I’m often very critical of our Judiciary and how many laws that have been interpreted in ways that have truly compromised us as a country have affected the current state of the country‼️

But i honestly would be unfair if I don’t give credit where it’s due and man I have just read one of the most detailed, well thought through and well interpreted and written judgements I’ve seen in a while by Judge Mandlenkosi Percival Motha in Mnanmo and Others vs Minister of Home Affairs…

In this case a number of MEN from Ethiopia, Nigeria with the help of that nonsense NGO called Scalabrini Centre, are demanding to be released from Lindela to go and apply to be Refugees in South Africa after having already being in the country for YEARS but they claim they have been turned back at Home Affairs and now they are at Lindela and want to be released🤥

Judge Motha goes into detail about the current immigration crisis and how it has impacted the country and how movements like March and March have echoed the cries of the people about the abuse of this refugee process! He then denies them the request and says that they must remain at Lindela and be deported…

That’s when Judge Wilson the Co-Founder of SERI decided that Judge Motha was wrong! And Wilson, a white Judge who himself is an immigrant from the UK then made a conflicting judgment and claimed we are Xenophobic and don’t represent the voice of the poor South Africans disputing what Judge Motha had said!!!

Now you mean to tell me that a Black South African Judge wouldn’t know who or what represents black South African people but the white judge claims that he does??

This matter has now been sent to full bench and I’m asking all South Africans to make their support known for Judge Mothas judgement because he represents exactly what the people have been saying! This is what a court should be about, THE PEOPLE not protecting your own interests and ideas of what people should or shouldn’t believe in‼️🤞🏻

We will join the Department of Home Affairs as FRIENDS OF THE COURT and expose Judge Wilson’s Bias
