@livingfree76@NickCRadio But what avenue do they use to acquire their next guy? They don’t have cap room to sign outright. The Porzingis TPE expires before then. The only major tools they have is to trade players. D White and PG are the only (2) with larger contracts. So the hope is to flip PG?
@jothamLICSW@McK_Chuck I believe this as well but I’m struggling to wrap my head around the flexibility vs. paying a boat load to have a top heavy roster. I guess it boils down to long term sustainability vs. 2-3 year peaks and then tear downs again.
@Johng_c Same reason some Celtics fans were saying Giannis to Boston was a done deal. This app is cluttered with BS and fans get excited. It ok to get excited and dream big. But sorry, you can’t have Brown :)
@FasterPP I’m with you. This year’s rumor mill has been the worst one ever. The draft just ended yesterday. The 1st couple weeks of the offseason was cannibalized by the Giannis talks. Let Brad cook.
@julianedlow My thoughts: MIN didn’t have enough to get Brown. MIL chose MIA b/c Giannis preferred it and MIL wanted draft capital. Giannis offers were limited to 3 teams & they got what they could. So Brown offer being less than Giannis offer is not an apple for apple comparison
