Live on air… Israel bombs civil defense teams as they try to retrieve the body of journalist Hossam Al-Masri, killed in an Israeli strike on Nasser Hospital.
Ongoing crimes before the eyes of the entire world.
Holy - look at this.
Senator Rick Scott just disclosed trades more than a year late.
They were worth $26,000,000.
You did not read that wrong.
He traded millions on companies he legislated.
Unusual.
Almost a decade ago you underestimated what ultimately gives Bitcoin durable value: credibly fixed issuance with independently auditable supply, global 24/7 electronic final settlement, and permissionless self-custody. What did you miss? You were far too dismissive of these savings and payments features; why would rational savers and institutions not prize an asset with predictable issuance, independently verifiable finite supply, and fast, global, irreversible settlement finalized by proof of work? Second, you did not appreciate how Bitcoin would compete with legacy payment rails to serve as a neutral, always on final settlement network for everything from high value transactions to every day Lightning payments. This demand puts a durable floor under its value, as evidenced by $trillions in annual on-chain transactions, a broad base of long term holders, and steadily rising Lightning capacity. Third, you did not anticipate a situation where anyone from families to institutions to governments could directly hold and secure scarce digital property through self-custody and multisig, with robust hardware wallet practices, while the network scales responsibly and even strengthens power grids through highly controllable load.
Almost a decade ago I was the Harvard economist that said that bitcoin was more likely to be worth $100 than 100k. What did I miss? I was far too optimistic about the US coming to its senses about sensible cryptocurrency regulation; why would policymakers want to facilitate tax evasion and illegal activities? Second, I did not appreciate how Bitcoin would compete with fiat currencies to serve as the transactions medium of choice in the twenty-trillion dollar global underground economy. This demand puts a floor on its price, as I discuss at length in my new book Our Dollar, Your Problem. Third, I did not anticipate a situation where regulators, and especially the regulator in chief, would be able to brazenly hold hundreds of millions (if not billions) of dollars in cryptocurrencies seemingly without consequence given the blatant conflict of interest.

would really appreciate the support to get my book read by people think would benefit from it. It's a work of love and I think its going to help countless people avoid the pain and suffering that so many experience with burnout and other life traps. It will also inspire people to self educate and develop mastery in all they do.
For todays youth, don't sit around waiting for teachers or professors to inspire you. You must learn the skill of generating your own high intensity inspiration to self-educate. Learn to fire your dopamine reward system and become addicted to things that make your smarter and stronger. Become more of a participant than a spectator. Become a producer rather than a consumer.
Just Go For It!
My friend @RPMComo has become a hell of a writer these past few years but this piece is extraordinary in so many ways.

Beautifully written, heartfelt, poignant, brave.
Sports fan or not, if you appreciate authenticity and great writing, then read it - and everything else he writes.
Oh, and to the ‘haters’ who just can’t appreciate nuance?
Get tae
Bravo, amico 👏👏👏

@ttmygh@RPMComo I watched the F1 movie last night. I thought it was excellent. I was skeptical, but I thought it was a great story, gripping visuals etc. Have you guys watched it yet? Thoughts?
I know nothing fundamental matters in a “vibes” market, but the $TSLA 2025-26 Adjusted EPS estimates have round-tripped to where they were in 2017-19, when the stock was below $30.
My pal @ttmygh is genuinely one of the best when it comes to delivering keynotes as a masterful storyteller. His “Cry Wolf” keynote, which he first presented back in 2018, has aged remarkably well. Hats off to you, Grant — brilliant work!

@BambroughKevin Interesting analogy. Except that (and this is key) that the number of pictures of holes is limited. And this verifiable scarcity makes it such a powerful “contra entry” (versus fiat, for example) to every and all transactions.
@SantiagoAuFund@grahamsbenj Household Net Debt / GDP, would be an interesting overlay to add further context given the extent to which a lot of the borrowing is secured gained the rising property market. But interest coverage does remain key when the piper needs to be paid!…. Eventually.
