We've lost a legend. Orion was THE voice of agriculture. Glad to have called him a friend and to have had the pleasure to work with him. I always appreciated his support and advice.
@JoeKASMRadio@maxarmstrong KASM has a great history of serving its listeners. I always enjoyed my visits with them over the years. Joe does a great job of continuing that tradition! Congratulations Joe!
I lost a good friend yesterday and so did agriculture. Mike Perrine started me on my farm broadcasting career path in the mid 1970's. Over the years he helped me and many other broadcasters as well. I will always be grateful for our friendship. He will certainly be missed.
@SJ_TomBrand I encourage you to get a copy of Tom's book. Great stories of faith, family and farm. Especially if you ever lived or worked on a farm or lived in rural America, you'll easily relate to Tom's experiences and think you grew up in the same place!
@morrisonmkts Wasn't USAID created by executive order? I agree Musk shouldn't have the power to close an agency but should be able to investigate and recommend action by the President.
You can agree or disagree on the answers but congratulations to Bret Baier for asking real questions and pressing for answers. Our country would be better served if more in the media would do the same.
47 years ago today I was a radio DJ doing my show when the bulletin came across the AP wire that Elvis had died. I shared the story with my listeners and played Elvis records the rest of my show. I found out the next day my boss wasn't an Elvis fan and almost fired me.
@Ron_on_RON@maxarmstrong@clintwfischer I really enjoyed doing Open Line shows on AgriTalk. Back then most stations carried the show" live". As stations started airing the program at various times of the day it took away the audience being able to call in as they heard the show.
