The increased availability in the produce section comes at a price, we should remember, especially on stuff imported. It can elevate food prices and factors into the ag trade deficit…with higher value off-season produce and horticulture products from other lands. Remember…wine, coffee and tropical products get counted in our ag trade imbalance.
