@pmc1423 Marcus Morris has a phase where he thought he was the most talented and toughest guy to ever suit up. He’s relaxed it a little but was an annoying phony to watch
I get that Warriors are viewed as a multiple-star juggernaut but he's the leader of probably the best NBA team in the modern era, 2x MVP, 3x (potentially 4x) title winner, fundamentally changed the sport, it's kind of stunning we're not looking at his place in history more yet
This is the strangest sports current event/debate going on and it keeps going. 4 years ago, it was probable. After being one of the most important pieces for a team emerging as one of the greatest ever, it's now being questioned more than ever instead of just turning into a lock.
@Boston__Sucks yeah, agree on that. But if I were to argue the other side, he was the best at what he did for not quite 10 years but certainly more than 5
@HaterOfChowder @Boston__Sucks that's not even the same ballpark though since he never sniffed an All-Star team, a Gold Medal/Olympic team, anything like that. Their resumes really aren't even close
@Boston__Sucks I mean Bobby Jones just got in, Ben Wallace I think is up for this year. Ginobili is widely assumed to be a future one. I'm sure there's plenty more
@Boston__Sucks I remember after he won it in 2015, a lot of NBA guys were just like "well he'll eventually end up in Springfield". Now it feels like everyone is going "alright let's talk about if this guy can be a Hall of Famer".Like why didn't it become more of a lock, why is there more doubt?
