If you don’t know my daughter was diagnosed with cancer when she was 5 years old. Today was her annual oncology appointment and she remains cancer free! It’s been 9 years since diagnosis and this day is always met with anxiety and PTSD. While she will struggle with the impacts of cancer for her entire life, I’m so thankful and blessed she’s still here and living life to the fullest! I also got to see a follower who happens to be an oncologist. When I tweeted the news 9 years ago he reached out to offer guidance not knowing I was local and she was being treated at the same hospital he worked at! Small World.
