BREAKING: Kentucky's star Democratic Governor Andy Beshear throws his fully support behind Kamala Harris for president — and then brutally tears into Donald Trump and J.D. Vance.
This is one for the books...
"The vice president is smart and strong which will make her a good president but she's also kind and has empathy which can make her a great president," said Beshear during an appearance on MSNBC.
"And the contrast between her and those running on the other side couldn't be clearer," he went on. "As a prosecutor, as an attorney general like I used to be, she prosecuted rapists, domestic abusers, stood for victims and put away those abusers."
"Now, look at the other side! Where J.D. Vance calls pregnancy arising from rape 'inconvenient.' No, it's just plain wrong," said Beshear.
"He suggests that woman should stay in abusive relationships. Listen, a domestic abuser isn't a man he's a monster and no one should support anyone having to stay in those relationships," said Beshear.
"So the vice president is ready. She has my full endorsement. I'm going to do everything I can to support her," he added.
Incredibly well said Governor Beshear! The choice this election could not be any simpler.
Kamala Harris stands for justice, reproductive rights, and a brighter future. Donald Trump stands for felonies, a national abortion ban, and a MAGA fascist theocracy.

BREAKING: Prosecutors strike back hard against Donald Trump after he launches an unhinged attack on the hush money trial judge's daughter — asserting that the gag order clearly covers her.
Trump really stepped in it this time...
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office filed a letter with the court demanding immediate action.
"The People believe that the March 26 Order is properly read to protect family members of the Court. But to avoid any doubt … this Court should now clarify or confirm that the Order protects family members of the Court, the District Attorney, and all other individuals mentioned in the Order," wrote prosecutor Joshua Steinglass to the judge.
Steinglass urged the judge to warn Trump that he is violating the gag order and to sanction him if he continues to flaunt it, convincingly arguing that failure to do so could allow Trump to influence and intimidate witnesses.
"That is, potential trial witnesses and prospective jurors who are not currently the subject of defendant’s invective will likely fear having themselves and their family members be subject to similar attacks," he wrote.
"This fear is not hypothetical: in the course of preparing for trial, multiple potential witnesses have already expressed grave concerns to the People about their own safety and that of their family members should they appear as witnesses against defendant,” he went on.
The gag order as written bans Trump from making public statements about "the family members of any counsel or staff member." Clearly, that should include the judge's daughter.
Trump's shady legal team absurdly pushed back on the notion—
"The express terms of the gag order do not apply in the manner claimed by the People, which they seem to acknowledge by suggesting the need to ‘avoid any doubt,’" the MAGA attorneys wrote.
What do you think? Should the gag order be clarified and expanded?
