@CharlieFelix Possibly. But these 6-2 bomb squads are changing the nature of the game. In my view there should be a regulation that limits the bench to 5-3. Admittedly hybrid players make it practically difficult.
@SBarnesRugby Yes it was a great match, but arguably the Pollock penalty and card did affect the result, albeit the momentum was with Bath at that point. At least the ref was decisive in his decision not to card Barbeary, and didn't wait for umpteen replays.
@TheRugbyPaper@BristolBears About rugby in Bristol, I was dismayed to read your match report from Clifton v Dings yesterday. Specifically references to the late Clifton DoR???
@JohnEvely_BPost Really?

@CrootMatt@BristolBears When Genge is away / post Lions resting, we look thin at loosehead. If Woolmore were to be injured at the same time, think we'd be in the mire!
@radio_sheri The Bath youngsters were frighteningly impressive Andrew. A full strength Bristol XV struggled to cope with them. The final scoreline flattered us somewhat. But a win is a win! Cheers
@CrootMatt@BedfordBluesRFC@BristolBears Indeed, good for them. All our injuries and the need to rest players have caused difficulties. But if the objective was to progress in the PRC, then the team selections for Queensland, Ampthill & Bedford look misjudged.
@radio_sheri@BristolBears The injury list is really hurting a small squad. But Bristol often struggle to adapt to suffocating defences. Sale too strong for us, whilst the ref allowed them to slow the game down horribly. Shame that any newcomers in the 22k crowd didn't see better fayre from the home team!
