Great day! Got to give the keynote today at the International Partnerhsip for Nuclear Disarmament Verification (IPNDV) side event at the NPT RevCon. Learn about our important work at https://t.co/BXezzDyL5x
The computing requirement in 1995 to allow an end to nuclear test was 100 TFlop/s. The US and China surpassed that two decades ago. The difference is that the US has the data for its computer models from >1,000 nuclear explosions, while China has data from just 45.
Last year, I wrote an article for @ForeignAffairs on why the US stands to lose the most from a resumption of nuclear testing. Link in the next tweet; here's a shot of me at the Sedan crater with a bunch of other nerds.
Diplomats from seven nations and @CTBTO visited @SandiaLabs’ FACT Site to see firsthand the strong U.S. support of CTBT nuclear explosion monitoring and verification. #NNSA is dedicated to transparency in its missions. 🇦🇺 🇬🇭 🇯🇵 🇲🇽 🇸🇬 🇸🇪 🇦🇪 🇺🇸
In a recent speech to @ipndv, #NNSA's Corey Hinderstein called on nuclear security experts to use the present pause in formal arms control advancement to pursue long-term solutions to the technical challenges of verifying nuclear reductions: https://t.co/jCIhAzWYEi

My band of brothers, and sisters, was forged in the fires of 20 years of service; nuclear deterrent alerts, space warfare days, and a thousand other amazing experiences. Everyone needs their tribe…
It is heartening to see my message on mental health starting to resonate with others…and my noisy chickens 🐓🐓🐓🐓. Stephanie Ruhle please have a conversation about mental health awareness month. @SRuhle@MSNBC@11thHour
I love community theatre and giving back. I’m highlighting mental health awareness month at the end of every performance. And I love my new jacket! Let’s have a conversation about mental health @SRuhle. @11thHour@MSNBC
Recognizing #Gratitude is important for mental health. It’s something I don’t do enough but when I do I feel so much better. Stephanie Ruhl, this would be a great conversation for the Friday Night Cap on @11thHour. @SRuhle@MSNBC
