@BishopJaxi Glad to hear that and I agree. I am a chaplain that ministers to both Catholics and Protestants and I will tell you that although there may be some differences in doctrine both love the Lord.
@MrCasey62 I am a chaplain at a large senior adult community ministering to both Catholic and Protestant residents and I can tell you there is no comparison when it comes to understanding scripture. I love my Catholic residents but they simply do not have the Bible knowledge Protestant have
@riecker Sir, I do not know you but if you spent as much time fighting Satan as you do the Protestant church, the body of Christ would be much better off.
@BishopJaxi Unfortunately there has been heresy taught in the church since the time of Christ in both Catholic and Protestant churches. The whole reason there are Protestant churches is because of the heresy taught in the Catholic Church such as indulgences.
@CatholicDrip___ Genesis: Abraham believed and it was credited to him as righteousness. OT saints were saved by their faith in the one true God and the coming Messiah.
Patrick Henry who famously said โGive me Liberty or give me deathโ also made the statement below. Guess he was a Christian Nationalist. What a shame.
@catholicbob I do not know any Protestants who are dismissive or disrespectful toward Mary. I honor her. She is very special but I do not feel a need to pray to her when I can go straight to the creator. There is no need for a middle man or in this case middle woman.
@catholicbob Full of grace is not the same thing as sinless. I agree with both the angel and Elizabeth. I have studied church history in seminary and have great respect for the early church fathers but they were not infallible. I suggest we listen to the angel and give each other grace.
@catholicbob If it is not taught in scripture, it is just manโs opinion just like we are sharing here. If Mary was born of a manโs seed she is a sinner because the sin nature was passed to all humans by Adam. If she is sinless she was not born in the usual way but I see no evidence of that.
