Team O’Dea is doing the work — with over 7,763 nominating petitions signed by Jersey City voters who trust us to lead. Door by door, we're meeting residents, solving problems, and building a stronger city.
McGreevey does this disingenuous thing of trying to pass himself off as “rooted” in Jersey City so he can play to his base’s nativist tendencies.
But the dude grew up in Carteret, was the mayor of Woodbridge, and spent most his life bouncing around various NJ suburbs.
It was an honor to attend a street dedication for the late Robert Byrne. No one exemplified commitment to family & community more. When we fought for the Katyn Memorial he was an invaluable resource- which was the way he treated every single person who walked in to city hall.
#JerseyCity Ward A council candidate Pam Johnson and at-large candidate @kzadrogahart, both part of Team @BillOdeaJC, on today's Pacific Avenue fire.
"The closure of the local firehouse on Halladay St. due to deplorable conditions ... is unacceptable & puts residents at risk."
As a former athlete, “soccer mom”, coach & HS athletic director I have seen firsthand the deficiencies & lack of investment in our local athletic facilities. That is why my husband & I worked tirelessly writing grants & coordinating the renovations of the Caven Point soccer field
JC deserves leaders who are transparent, accountable & accessible. As your City Council at Large representative, I will work to ensure that gov’t decisions are made openly & the voices of all residents are heard. Let’s build a gov’t that serves the people, not political insiders.
@eaconner@amywilson Good question , but honestly it’s not within their power to decide that. That is laid out by the superintendent and they can approve or vote down . As for how it’s allocated broken up by different staff; that info is available
IMHO, Christie’s legacy is attacking public school teachers, destroying NJ Transit, cancelling the ARC Tunnel and enabling Trump. But I don’t expect someone who is funded by Kushner to see that. Some local “dems” may accept this, but I sure as Hell don’t.
@fiorinarosa @StevenFulop No, I can’t recall the last time the Mayor got involved in JCBOE elections but definitely quite some time ago. Our PAC waits for the clerk lost to be published and sends invites to be screened.
