Got into a lengthy online discussion tonight regarding perfection vs. imperfection. I believe that perfection is worth pursuing, to a degree, but that imperfection will creep in, more likely than not, because none of us are actually perfect. There is no shame in either.
@claw_5683 We're not obligated to like everything she does. Sometimes her judgement is flawed or not to our liking -- as is true for any performer. Nothing wrong with that.
New rule for everyone, but particularly for RV owners like me. Avoid wearing AirPods while doing the usual business at/above the toilet bowl. One may fall out and be sucked down into the abyss before you know it. I didn't even get to say goodbye.
@cenkuygur You think he hasn't tried? Between the R's and the two pretend D's, he is stopped in his tracks at every turn. I'm a liberal D for my entire life, and I don't have ANY animosity toward this president.
Tonight's #americanidol was ridiculously good, with 20 stellar performances from start to finish. Nationwide voting sends 6 people home tomorrow night, leaving the remaining 14 to perform again. Can't wait.
@kenedianderson_@AmericanIdol Devastating news. I sincerely hope that you continue to pursue your music, as you have all the makings of a world-class singer and performer.
I almost never spend the entire day inside my home, but the snow and cold today dictated that I do so. It's supposed to be back in the 30's tomorrow, which means I can eat something other than frozen dinners.
@VanderVault I don't believe that this is a consequence of age, it is a consequence of behavior. Age has no relevance when it comes to music. So punish and/or ban people who misbehave, regardless of age. Should we be banned from her concerts as well?
What, no more @vandervault forum? That's a shame. It should be tamed, not slaughtered. Hopefully someone else will start something similar, and find a way to weed out the bad apples as they reveal themselves. (No disrespect to @marklalonde, just disagree with the solution.)
This past weekend, my fifth-wheel and I moved again to a different RV park, from Lake Lavon to near Lake Lewisville. Not too far from mom and the dog. And yes, once again I was asked to depart for not conforming to the park rules. Something to be proud of, I'd say.
