@CardChronicle Wake looked like the better team to me. They did what they wanted all day. O-line and defense aren’t top 50. Got some offensive weapons to keep us competitive but not a top 30 team.
@SethDillon The foolishness that someone could “kill” Jesus. He gave His Life. God the Father gave a Son.
“No one can take it from me”
“Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and He shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?”
They arrested the President of the United States of America 4X, charged him 91X, indicted him 4X, spied on his campaign, sabotaged his first term, jailed his supporters, raided his private residence, censored him, gagged him, tried to bankrupt him, and attempted to remove him from state ballots.
When all of that failed they tried to assassinate him not once but four times.
And they go on national television to talk about how we need to vote for them to save democracy.
Likely the best thing you’ll see on the internet today.
During a confessional hearing on Minnesota fraud (featuring Walz and AG Ellison), Representative Cloud (Tx) schools a female woke “reverend” in what Matthew 25 really means and what God really commands when it comes to charity.
“I’m always amazed in DC how much we get to define our personal worth as a politician by how much of OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY WE GIVE AWAY.”
Cardinal Dolan says he spent the past week studying Charlie Kirk’s life, and the more he learned, the more he saw him as a modern-day Saint Paul.
A fearless missionary, a passionate evangelist, and a true hero.
“When I heard the tragic news, I said, ‘I wonder who he was.’ And then all of a sudden, this overwhelming, this overwhelming sense of sorrow and kind of renewal.”
“And I thought, I gotta learn about this guy. And the more I learned about him, I thought, this guy's a modern day Saint Paul. He was a missionary, he's an evangelist, he's a hero.”
“He's one that knew what Jesus meant when he said, the truth will set you free. And to do it, Now, I understand he was pretty blunt and he was pretty direct. He didn't try to avoid any controversy. He didn't even try to avoid confrontation. The difference is the way, the mode, the style that he did it, always with respect.”
@RandPaul And Congress has done such a splendid job! I mean, look at the mess Congress has made. Congress is not a dependable governing entity. It’s a bunch of reprobate minds voting personal principles, personal morals and lying for self preservation and promotion.
In the world of collegiate football, it appears Jesus is going on a blitz. Several young football players have, in recent days, used the publicity from their games as a way to point fans and viewers toward the Gospel. https://t.co/S8HyQApMZh
It's easy to fall into the trap of believing that if you can just get THAT next materialistic thing, then "I'll be enough".
That thing usually takes the form of a new job, a new car, a higher salary, or even someone else's approval.
Chasing these surface-level desires only leads to a never-ending search for purpose. Even if you do reach the mountain top, you never really feel satisfied with the view.
The only true way to avoid this pitfall?
Climb your own mountains. 🏔️
Mountains that match your calling, your dreams, your aspirations, where the purpose and energy is derived from WHO YOU ARE.
Climb YOUR mountains.
Not the mountains society tells you to climb.
Not the mountains made to impress someone else.
Not the mountains made from comparison, or the opinion of others.
Because when you pursue the mountains that align with your true calling, you'll find:
"I'll be enough." transforms into "I am enough." 💯
"Civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is taken against problems facing mankind."
—George Wald, Harvard biologist, 1970
#Catastrophizing
Some things are believed because they are demonstrably true. But many other things are believed simply because they have been asserted repeatedly—and repetition has been accepted as a substitute for evidence.
