When simulation becomes the norm, it weakens the human capacity for discernment. As a result, our social bonds close in upon themselves, forming self-referential circuits that no longer expose us to reality. We thus come to live within bubbles, impermeable to one another. Feeling threatened by anyone who is different, we grow unaccustomed to encounter and dialogue. In this way, polarization, conflict, fear and violence spread. What is at stake is not merely the risk of error, but a transformation in our very relationship with truth.
Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney#Cameroon https://t.co/bKteFZ3iWE
@IrishBlue1878 God only knows what you and your family have been through Niall. You’ve done Natalie and Baby Dean proud. She will not be forgotten and your brothers call to end violence against women adds another to the chorus. We need to see real change. RIP.

@robprogressive Fiscal Drag is what we should all be getting upset about. The government make out that an increase in the minimum wage is good for working families when in fact it’s a smash and grab from companies.
@theiaincameron Sometimes I feel there should be some form of passport check /checkpoint for the lakes so if you’ve littered, polluted or disrespected the fells you just are allowed back.
