@rezich@SaysSimulation The women in question do not have any political power as a group because they are not US citizens and can GTFO pronto if their intent is to have an anchor baby.
Birth tourism schemes exploit our immigration laws and often violate our criminal laws. The Department of Justice will prioritize the prosecutions of birth tourism schemes across the country. Actors seeking to exploit loopholes to obtain automatic citizenship for their children pose a national security threat and will be brought to justice.
@Sargon_of_Akkad Point taken, but it's irrelevant due to the fact that the original authors of the 14th Amendment argued that the allegiance of the child's parents would be used to determine citizenship
@KurtSchlichter Overturning birthright citizenship would in no way overturn 150 years of precedent. The original authors of the amendment themselves in recorded congressional debate said that jurisdiction meant ALLEGIANCE to the US.
Illegals, tourists, and visitors have no such allegiance to 🇺🇸
With the Supreme Court okaying birth tourism where foreigners come here solely to win their kids citizenship that comes with future welfare benefits, the President must now deny entry to all "likely to become a public charge" since that IS expressly within the President’s rights.
I can't help but laugh at the irony of it but Zoomers and/or their children are going to create the Fourth Reich right here in America if we don't fix our immigration system and this obscene birthright citizenship decision
The SCOTUS had an opportunity to heal a serious problem with the birthright citizenship case.
The upcoming generation of young, actual true-blooded Americans are going to become so radicalized by this problem that we are headed for some very dark days ahead unless this is fixed
If birthright citizenship is upheld, the only recourse is to drastically restrict all visa workers and restrict entry to our country entirely. I don't see any other path moving forward.
Well, that’s the worst case scenario on birthplace citizenship case. Apocalyptically and indefensibly bad. Very, very difficult to see where to go from here.
@DuckieLouise It only really makes a difference for trips greater than 100 miles or so. Speeding in town or in heavy traffic is a fool's errand - stop lights will erase any time gains, guaranteed
