@Noirchick1 Aaaaargh, difficult. But I'll go for Double Indemnity, just for the Stanwyk ankle bracelet and the whole '80 mph' dialogue at the beginning...😎
@Noirchick1 Maybe the most underrated classic Hollywood era was Errol Flynn. Think of The Adventures of Robin Hood, Dawn Patrol, the 'you can take glory with you' scene in They Died with Their Boots On....
@amy_oakden@BBCTees I'm doing a trek through my Beatles mono box set (as you do when the nights start to draw in), and I've reached the White Album, so it's headphones on, glass of rioja & press play...` Flew in from Miami Beach, BOAC...' etc.
@LikeOldTat Yes, we saw John Laverick in the pub about 5 years ago, along with a couple of other teachers. Didn't know Ben was in the village. The camp was 47 years ago....YIKES!
@LikeOldTat@JohnDensmore Yup. Track one, side one, album one.... Your mam n Dads front room, Whickham, April 1976.' Break on through to the other side...' 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
@MichelleDewbs@cfdownes_@schneiderhome@GBNEWS Actually, I may have promoted Lee Anderson up a social class (!) but I'd like to think my argument still stands! And Farage made a fatal error championing Andrew Tate as a role model for young men. Imagine a whole generation of men with that accent....
@MichelleDewbs@cfdownes_@schneiderhome@GBNEWS I disagree with you on nearly everything on your show (that's free speech I suppose!), but your point about male egos was spot on. Five very well off, middle-class, business-focused men trying to fight for their own space isn't very healthy.
