…England is the only nation that sells out Test matches at £180 a ticket, proving that first class cricket is already a popular format. If the same level of marketing had been put into revamping the four day game, it would be better for cricket on a global scale. (2/2)
£140 a ticket, £7 for a pint, at least £15-£20 on food…the average fan won’t have change from £200 for a day to watch an England team who have won one game from 17…cheaper and more enjoyable to go on holiday!
Lords not being full this week is embarrassing for the game .. Try & blame the Jubilee if they want but I guarantee if tickets weren’t £100 - £160 it would be jam packed !!! Why are they so expensive ??? #Lords#ENGvNZ
Scrap The Hundred. Play a 50-over competition in April and May with knock outs in September. Play the T20 Blast and the County Championship across June, July, August and early September, using the weekends to draw crowds. And scrap central contracts. #englandcricket#ecb#Ashes
