The Dutchman is in the habit of holding tactical meetings that precede each game in an unusual way - they are usually extensive, from 30 to 40 minutes, and are repeated three or four times a week - a frequency that bothers and surprises the locker room.

More than one player says that he had more lectures of this type with Ten Hag at United than in the rest of his career.
