@DailyBroncos Go watch the C. Gonzalez being mic’d up video. He literally tackles Sutton in the exact play Stidham turns the ball over. Official admits to Sutton he saw the egregious hold, but didn’t call a penalty cuz he thought Stidham was out of the pocket. Just go watch the video.

@DJack43774 @MLFootball I don’t think you’re understanding the repercussions of him not throwing the flag meant. He admitted it was a penalty but didn’t call it cuz QB was out of pocket. Initial call was intentional grounding which means he was inside. If he throws the flag it’s 1st down Denver.

Initial ruling was intentional grounding which means in the pocket so this non call holding flag would’ve given Denver a 1st down & no possession to NE.

@Fatcatterran @ChaseDaniel I’m still confused about it being a backwards pass. I believe the same type of play happened in the ‘15 AFC champ. game too when Manning threw it to Hillman, but that was obvious.
Bad play by Stidham but I’m still trying to see how it was backwards

@George_Cover0 @ChaseDaniel Did you think that Maye got the 1st down on the QB Sneak? It was very close. The aerial view seemed as though his forward progress was stopped well short. But, my opinion doesn’t matter. Getting outcoached maybe a little much. Stidham’s mistake was so costly.

I’m still confused about that play that was called a backwards pass?? I know Payton should have kicked the field goal early in the game. Don’t get me started on the QB sneak where Maye was clearly short.

@TheVicMonte I don’t even give a second to question this call. That down should never have happened. Non-holding call on Bills in the end zone should’ve ended the game with a Safety being awarded to the Broncos.
