Need a laugh? A naked hotel guest, a headless mannequin & a terrified parrot: Today's @Substack recounts the remarkable sense of humor displayed by locals after the Oct 22, 1926 Bay Area Earthquakes https://t.co/FUoothFb2T
Did you know that Joseph Stalin's spies once operated in San Francisco? It took decades for the public to learn the full story! Read my latest free @Substack to learn more. There will be a follow up piece coming soon on more San Francisco's Russian links! https://t.co/5HRI5C4Y1c
James Talarico has made a BRUTAL ad, targeting Ken Paxton for his extensive trips abroad.
From London on America’s 250th to Dubai with alleged fugitives, Paxton will be anywhere BUT Texas.
Me and Ilhan Omar are far apart policy wise. I’m pro life, she’s pro abortion. I’m pro 2A, she’s pro gun control. And on and on.
But can someone tell me how pretending to get ready to deport Ilhan Omar is going to bring gas down under $2, make health insurance freaking affordable, make a family’s weekly grocery bill make sense, and stop sending our beloved military off to fight for another fucking foreign war???
People are so sick and tired of the bullshit.
When you dumb mf’ers at the WH actually release the Epstein files and lock up the pedophiles and rapists you all hang out with, then we will start paying attention.
Until then 🖕.

In two career outings vs @SFGiants, Gilbert is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA and 17 strikeouts. Intriguing.

Since December 2024, the average American household is paying:
$222 more for electricity.
$758 more for gas.
$211 more for groceries.
$929 more for health care.
$256 more on rent.
$852 more for child care.
$4,330 more for their mortgage.
Trump's economy.
SNL TURNED A WHITE HOUSE RENOVATION INTO A HOME-IMPROVEMENT SHOW.
And that format choice is what makes the premise interesting.
“White House Makeover” takes the familiar language of property-renovation television and applies it to Trump's plans for the White House ballroom.
Instead of treating the subject like a conventional political report, the sketch borrows a format audiences recognize immediately.
The makeover reveal.
The confident hosts.
The promise that a big renovation will solve everything.
But the White House isn't an ordinary house, and a presidential building project isn't just another television renovation.
That contrast gives the satire its starting point.
SNL takes a political story and changes the lens through which we see it.
Suddenly, a question about presidential priorities becomes a parody of television's obsession with dramatic transformations.
Trump is the first president to call for America to be attacked. And his Republican allies said nothing.
They don't care about you, or the country.
Vote Democratic this November. The future of America depends on it.
The NFL has rescinded the $14,926 fine it imposed on 49ers FB Kyle “Juice” Juszczyk for what it thought was a distasteful celebration of chugging a beer. The league said it was withdrawing the fine “because his celebration was simulating drinking a juice box, not a beer….Mr. Juszczyk finally stated that the fine is hypocritical with the amount of Bud Light sponsorships surrounding the NFL.” Fine rescinded.
Our new report shows that the City of San Francisco owns 147 properties that have potential to be developed into housing, including 44 vacant or soon-to-be vacant properties!
In the midst of this housing crisis, we can't let these spaces continue to be underutilized.
Californians' lives are not expendable in Donald Trump's unhinged, reckless war in Iran.
This is yet another callous comment from the tyrant in the White House who dragged the American people into a war that we do not want.
An American president is talking about Los Angeles and San Diego being “taken out.”
Where the hell is Congress?
This is dangerous. The time to stand up is NOW.
