@Rosenbergradio@DanhausenAD What’s the story behind that “1987 was the first boom in wrestling”. Was that edited? Was it out of context? Because there’s no way you legitimately believe that surely?
@troy35584984109@davemeltzerWON I think what Dave is noting here is why would McMahon work with Jake Paul against TKO when McMahon is a large shareholder in TKO?
@MafiaBassGuy@angrymetsfan69@davemeltzerWON People say this but tbh he talks about TNA less fondly than ROH or NJPW based on how much TNA fucked him around and tried to cut his pay before he left. Whatever he decides is great however, dude is amazing
@FinancesWorld@OperaSocialist@elonmusk You think the US is the only country here with a constitution? People have more rights in each of the countries mentioned than the US
@floyddigga@JobberNationTV Indie? My man I love all three but Rollins is pretty god damn indie too. Not that I’m complaining Tyler Black fucking ruled.
@ISamateh12280@AllDAYZ77 In wrestling or in WWE? If the former not a chance, if the latter certainly top 10 of the last 15 years but all time no way. Not a criticism he’s great but I don’t think he’d put himself in top 10 ever
@HukAleksandra If you earn 100k your take home pay after tax is around 68.5k a year. And over 5.5k a month. Cry me a river if that’s not enough to live on.
And those taxes are being utilised to pay for public services we all need.
@DavidAusbun2@LordTommmy@dynastytribal Eh true, depends on if you consider his match with Kofi at 35. As it was the WWE Title and best match on the whole show, I’m counting it 😂
@LordTommmy@dynastytribal Good for him. He’s a good talent to have on your roster and will always give you a good tv segment. But he won’t bring you quality on PPV. Top guys need to deliver in main events. He didn’t, Bryan did. That’s why Bryan main evented more.
@LordTommmy@dynastytribal Absolutely! Miz is a fantastic talent, but he doesn’t compare in ring to Bryan. Not many do. Likewise Bryan probably wouldn’t be happy being in Miz’s role.
But great wrestlers will give you your moneys worth when you pay to see their match. Miz has never had that quality.
@LordTommmy@dynastytribal True though, I mean if it’s what you think is important.
Terry Funk main evented zero Wrestlemania’s and he’s a more impactful, influential and better than anyone on the current WWE roster. Because wrestling is more than one company.
@LordTommmy@dynastytribal Both are worthy of praise, both are valuable in different ways. They have both been successful and excelled in areas most important to them.
But if we’re going by WWE being the be all and end all of success, Bryan has main evented 3 manias, Miz 1
@Twilight_Taiyo Also right before this he had given such heartfelt speeches about Owen for the tournament. Plus listening to him on his podcast he just seems like a great guy. Deserved pop. Double J rules
@SocietyMovies An interesting point, not trying to be dismissive, but what I mean is people were invested in Bryan. A fall off of viewers, is that down to him? Or a continuing trend? WM 30 was the most watched mania ever, is that down to him or the network? Difficult to track metrics of draws
