@Evelyn31721@obstatsinc @naomithyden Nope, doesn't rule out positional asphyxia at all. The concern I believe my we share is how the report is quoted in the CHARGING document, which is the essentially the prosecutor's case summary, appears biased in favor the defense. The prosecution shouldn't be blaming the victim!
@pastorbrady When white privilege has to face its debts... You should start a service with this video without explanation until afterward. People might walk out, but you'll know who your faithful are by the time you get to the music part of worship. https://t.co/YXJ3DuHz9N
@obstatsinc @naomithyden It is quite clear the ME (Andrew Baker) is in bed with the defense, as is the prosecution. The prosecution needs to be taken down by other attorneys, but as physicians, we can at least remove this ME. A number of us physicians are filing ethics complaints.
@naomithyden Thanks for posting this. It's good to hear this side. However, I still find it quite concerning that a charging document, which should be pro-prosecution, would have been cherry-picked to protect the defendant. That is some extreme evidence of bias right there.
@RAAEMS@ITSDP_VCUMed@hp_ems @EMSWorldNews @Panamtrauma@EMS1 @RVAHealthDept @VCUHealth @EMSTODAY Thank you for joining us, @RAAEMS, and thank you for inviting us, @RichmondDoc! It was a great experience for all and all of us from @ITSDP_VCUMed look forward to future collaboration and partnership.
@RichmondDoc @delterrykilgore 5 years lost, but at least he is speaking up now. We can give some grace & stand behind someone for deciding to go against the grain. You know it is far easier to go along with whatever is politically correct in a given group. It takes far more work & risk to fight the current.
Per GBD data, interpersonal violence responsible for 6x the DALYs lost in the U.S. vs European countries. This is 1º 2/2 gun violence but other forms of violence (e.g., stabbings) are also lower there! Self-harm is also higher here 2/2 guns. #FOAMed#PublicHealth@ITSDP_VCUMed
@RAAEMS Great job, Justin! @ITSDP_VCUMed members attended to learn to teach a hands-only #CPR for our class w/ @RAAEMS & @RichmondDoc March 18th as an outreach to the #RVA#Latino community 3/18 at @SHCRichmond. We thought Justin did a fantastic job & enjoyed learning with the class.
In Ecuador, @ITSDP_VCUMed found critical pt & case info lost at EMS-ED interface thought 2/2 lack of attention by receiving team in ED. This certainly occurs in the US as well. EMS reports are a gold mine for answering our ?s. #patientsafety#FOAMed@RAAEMS @VCUEM @VCUEMS https://t.co/OF4wPSzyOG
Could not agree more. Take time to listen to the pre-hospital report and say THANK YOU. It's a lot harder to take care of patients on the side of a roadway than in the bay. Thank you to all our EMS providers who bring patients to @VCUHealth@VCU_Surgery https://t.co/kyZo4X7nEi
@RichmondDoc The fact that you got a response from this bot has got to mean something, right? You're clearly succeeding at making @realDonaldTrump's mission to #makeamericawhiteagain just a bit tougher. Also, starting a campaign for @RichmondDoc for #altPOTUS effective right now.
I have seen this happen to medical students multiple times. It seems to be endemic to Medicine. Most professions do not tolerate this sort of behavior. Why does Medicine encourage it? @RichmondDoc @pferrada1 https://t.co/zet5qoBorq
Thanks, @UKROBL & @RAAEMS. Very much appreciate the opportunity to be involved in that project and look forward to our next collaboration. https://t.co/Rfo8sdUH8i
that our former interns, @ITSDP_VCUMed Students Jess Patton, Daniel Critchfield, and Dr. Mike Rains, were awarded second place in the student research section of the @Panamtrauma Congress in Mexico City last week. @VCUHealth
