@DrHelenFry My grandfather didn’t talk about it much and died when I still was at a young age. My grandmother though told me lots of stories about the war and the occupation. She never stopt hating the Germans and never lost the ‘fire’ in her eyes when talking about it

@DrHelenFry My grandfather fought the Germans at the Grebbe line after they invaded the Netherlands. He later joint the resistance together with my grandmother.
