@fred_fearn It’s desperate as a follow lots of genuine decent people/accounts (CAWOS / RFU / etc) and I will miss them but the rest of the nonsense on here isn’t worth it.
I've started a Threads account, perhaps I’ll look into bluesky too
@LucyMcRobert1@WiseBirding Probably a comment that should be added to the thread on bird forum as well as one here. It mirrors other comments and would add to the pool of knowledge
Looking to give away my trusty Lieca BA 8 x 32. Ideally to a young birder starting out.. Good condition. Focus wheel needs some WD40 😉 Re tweets appreciated. DM for details..
@GPCbirding I was on the boat on the 15th August 1993
I fondly recall a famous birder sitting on the outside steps at the stern swigging vodka from the bottle and eating Stilton
Acceptable views of a Wilson’s Petrel but nothing like watching one dance its way up Sapphire’s wake though
Come down & say hello @Ness_Gardens today where I’ll be representing @hilbrebirdobs assisting @MerseysideRG with a bird ringing demo:

Certainly wasn't expecting to see a Hudsonian Godwit when I woke up this morning.
Great find by Colin Wells. 5th for UK?
Left before it decided to have a jaunt over the border, so not on the Welsh list :-(
Not a bad way to end a long weekend
I was lucky to see the @RSPB_BurtonMere Hudsonian Godwit before it flew out to the estuary, better views than the Somerset bird despite the rain. Great find by Colin Wells, hopefully it will reappear this evening 🤞
Hudsonian Godwit…….a great find by the legendary Colin Wells yesterday evening @ RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands. So glad it reappeared today. Noticeably smaller and darker when picking it out in the Godwit flock. A stunner!
Awesome views of the #StKilda American Cliff Swallow continue today 😍
Flying around a localised patch near the Manse in gale force winds, often settling for a rest on the grass or on rocks. @HebridesBirds@BirdGuides@rbnUK
