James Mitchell, the psychologist who questioned the 9/11 plotter after his 2003 capture, put that warning in his 2016 book and on Fox News. He was paraphrasing what KSM said in custody, not reading a public speech.

Mitchell said KSM called U.S. civil liberties, openness, and cultural guilt "gifts from Allah." In Mitchell's telling, those were weaknesses planted so the country could be defeated from inside.

The practical path, KSM said, was immigration. Jihadi-minded men would enter, live on welfare, wrap themselves in American rights, spread their message, and rise up when they were strong enough.

This morning the crowd did — because one brave widow, @TerrySStrada, looked at the leaders in front of her and refused to let the day pass in silence.
She called out Saudi Arabia’s role, the broken promises, and a string of administrations that protected the Kingdom instead of helping to deliver justice for the families.

Joe Kernen calls out liberal panelist Andrew Ross Sorkin live on his own show after Sorkin claimed he didn’t know whether people celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder represented a “left view or a right view.”

Kernen’s point was pure common sense: It’s not exactly difficult to identify where much of the insanity is coming from.

He immediately pressed Sorkin on some of the radicals he has supported, but Sorkin tried to deflect.

That’s when Kernen brought up the loony DSA candidates, Hasan Piker, and Zohran Mamdani.

And Sorkin suddenly had a guest to get to.

SORKIN: “But why do you think the the the discourse has gotten as ugly as it has?”

“And do you agree that it’s gotten…and do you think it’s ugly across…I mean, I think what, what what Joe just described is pretty ugly.”

“And you I don’t know if that’s a, a left view or a right view or what kind of view it is.”

KERNEN: “You really don’t know whether that’s…?”

SORKIN: “I actually am not sure what…is going on there…”

KERNEN: “With September 11th coming up, doesn’t…don’t you get an eyebrow raise with some of these DSA candidates and what they’ve said in the past about deserving September 11th?”

SORKIN: “Oh, Hasan Piker, of course!”

KERNEN: “And Mamdani, you say he’s the most popular person in New York. He’s anti-semitic. He’s on record. His wife is with these comments that are…”

SORKIN: “I’m not defending him. I’m just suggesting to you…if you’re a Republican trying to run in this state right now, and I’m not talking about you, I’m talking about our previous guest…It is very hard to overcome.”

“And, you know, I think as well as anybody, if you look at the polls in this state in particular, his chances are, and I’m sorry for his sake, very, very challenged.”

KERNEN: “I know, but I just don’t think it’s hard to find where the the insanity on which side.”

“Now, what, do you equate not wanting trans athletes in…is that the same type of nastiness…you think it’s…?”

SORKIN: “We have a guest here, so I don’t know why…I don’t know why…”

KERNEN: “I would deflect that, if I were you, I would deflect on that too.”
